Hello and welcome to NSPIRE Church! We were once newbies to the church too, back in 2014. Spencer joined in July and met Haley while serving Thanksgiving dinner at a local food pantry. Spencer was scooping mashed potatoes and gravy and Haley was passing out the rolls. The two of us immediately hit it off and started dating. In fact, one of our first dates was when Spencer invited Haley to join him for church in early December. We attended church together every week after that. Eleven months later, we got married! We have two young kids, Camdyn and Emerson, and live in Noblesville. The services at NSPIRE are always worth getting out of bed for. The worship music is upbeat and heartfelt. The messages we hear every week are timely, pertinent, and often lighthearted yet honest, powerful, and firmly based in the Bible. We never feel judged or like we aren’t good enough. It truly is a safe place to come-as-you-are. We aren’t like a mega church. Here, you will never feel like just a number, another butt in the seat, or one more check in the offering basket. The people at NSPIRE have become our family.
Beyond the weekly messages, NSPIRE is very good at helping people find ways to get connected and engaged to serve God through the church. When we were still a portable church, Spencer was on the setup and teardown crew (called “Roadies”). This helped him feel connected to the church and also facilitated several personal connections with the others on the crew. We wanted to serve together too, so we offered to work in the Nursery one weekend a month. We loved holding the sweet little babies and getting to know their families. This love for serving the children of our church grew and grew to the point where Haley volunteered to serve as the interim Family Life Director for six months. Spencer also serves on the event planning committee, responsible for planning and execution of our core community events like the Westfield Easter Egg Drop, Westfield Rocks the 4th, and Movies in the Park. One of NSPIRE Church’s core drivers is service to our community, and we live that out. In fact, we’ve been awarded the Westfield Partner of the Year Award three years in a row! Needless to say, there are plenty of opportunities to serve the church and our community regardless of your talents.
There are so many other opportunities for getting connected to the church family from Life Groups (we host a Life Group if you’re interested in joining), Women’s IF Tables, and Men’s Group Service Projects to classes like Starting Point, Financial Peace University, and the Marriage Class. We like to have a good time at events like our Dream Team Dinners, Christmas Party, Fall Bonfire, Tailgates, Monday Night Football parties, Poker Nights, and more!
