Family Weekend 2024

You’ve heard it countless times - NSPIRE Church exists to breathe life into our community. We want our legacy to be that we loved and served well and reflected the image of God to our neighbors.

We are celebrating a Family Week in February!  On Thursday, February 15, we will have a 6:30PM service at our Westfield building.  This will include NSPIRE Kids’ ministry, just like we would have on a Sunday morning.

There will not be a service in Westfield on Sunday, February 18.  Instead, we encourage you to focus on family (or your Squad) and spend your time doing one or more of the below options.

Also be sure to leverage your time well by using the family discussion guide that can be downloaded by clicking this button:

Still want to Attend Sunday Morning?...

Attend worship at our Tipton location (C.W. Mount building, 341 W. Jefferson St.) at 10:00 AM on Sunday, February 18!

Family Activity

Spend time together doing something that is a favorite activity for your family.  Is there a game your family traditionally plays together?  Do you like doing puzzles, going to the library, zoo, or a favorite museum?  Something outdoors or involving sports?  Whatever is your “thing” in your family, talk about why it matters and how you are building a legacy that focuses on love and spending quality time together.

Family Shopping for a Cause

Can you imagine not having good socks in the winter? Go shopping as a family/squad for socks (for men, women, and children) to donate to Circle City Relief (circlecityrelief.org) or to Hallie Strong (halliestrong.org)! HallieStrong is a great non-profit that was created by our very own Kevin & Bethany Hart. When doing this activity together, be sure to talk about this and other practical ways to serve our neighbors who are going through difficult circumstances.

Ingredients of Faith

Choose a favorite family recipe and make it together.  While preparing it, talk about where the recipe came from.  Why is it important or special to your family? How do you feel when you eat this favorite meal?  Are there other family traditions that have been passed down that are meaningful to your family? When you sit down to eat, pray together and thank God for time together and for the blessing of family. Continue the conversation and talk about the value of family and how you can show love to one another in your daily lives.

Don’t have a family recipe but want to try something fantastic?   Joanna Gaines biscuits  OR Joanna Gaines cookies.

Talk about the ingredients that are used to make the biscuits. Tell your kids about  some of the main "ingredients" in your life that have helped you become who you are.   How has God shaped you (like dough) to change you as he works in your life?

Circle City Relief
